Great Tactical Pen
Very nice looking pen, good weight to it. The only thing I wasn't to fond of is how the actual pen part is hidden away forcing you to unscrew whenever you need to use it leaving the rest of the pen on the table since there is no way to leave the pen attached unless you stuff it on which is prone to fall off, which can feel awkward for big hands. Of course its no big deal in private but in public it wouldn't be my 1st choice for writing. As for the tactical attributes of the pen TakeFlight did a fantastic job on the multi tool, glass breaking tip and flashlight. It all feels very high quality when handling the pen and i doubt any other pen on the market can compare, I can say i was completely shocked to see how bright the flashlight was on the pen and how sturdy the glass breaker and multi tool held up when used. Another thing i really enjoyed about this product was the packaging, the box looked very professional and felt very professional, the added batteries and ink cartridges were a nice bonus. Overall I would give this product a 4.5 but that isnt an option and a 5 star review wont be misleading for this product. Very nice pen. ~ Adam

I absolutely love this Tactical multi pen I love the weight of it, I love the way it feels, I love the way it writes, in fact it writes beautifully which was something that I wasn't expecting. I had high expectations for the tactical pen itself as far as the flashlight and self defense aspects of the pen and I figured that it would write somewhat okay but it writes absolutely amazing... I've already demoed and recommended it to several people on my job. At first I thought I wouldn't like the fact that to write with it, you have to unscrew it and it becomes two pieces.... the pen and the flashlight but I actually love this feature now because you can use them independently of each other... I had to check the oil in my car and I was able to just use the flashlight portion of it separately... I unscrewed the flash light part and popped it in my mouth and used it to shine light in the area where I was working. Plus it works great opening up boxes by cutting the tape away as it has a section on it with blade, a bottle opener, a flat head and several other cool useful tools. Overall it's a great pen and I Highly recommend it. One of my favorite purchases in the last few years. GREAT high quality product.

For the money you can't beat it.
This is a very good product. I had purchased a traditional safety tool for my wife's car and it was large and bulky and as such you have to stash it in the glove compartment or center console. When I saw the tactical pen I purchased it for my car. Outside of the fact it is very cool looking and was available in a color that matches my car it is so nice to have such a tool that clips onto my sun visor where in the event of an accident or need it is small and right there. The pen works well and the flashlight is very bright. For the price you can't beat it. It is also sold by and made by a small company which I like to support.

Coolest and Smoothest writing pen!
I ordered this pen as my brother’s birthday gift because it has all the little gadgets/tools I knew he’d like! The pen was delivered so quick with Prime and got here just in time to give to my brother! I didn’t really know how good the quality would be and honestly didn’t expect it to be out of this world, but this is the coolest thing I’ve ordered in a loooong time and I’m going to order one for myself to use at work. The flashlight at the end of the pen is THE BEST THING EVER. It’s super bright, great range and just awesome. The pen writes so smoothly and the weight of the pen is distributed so evenly that it’s really comfortable writing with it. I’m all for supporting small family businesses and especially since it’s veteran owned! We have a few men in our family who are VERY hard to buy gifts for. When I saw this product, and all of the uses for it, I knew it would be perfect as a stocking stuffer. This Pen Packs a Punch!
The pen itself writes smoothly, and has a comfortable grip. Beyond that, the construction is solid, but still light weight. It is fairly long, but still easily fits in a bag; speaking of which, the light is perfect for finding things in the bottom of a bag (since the pen is easy to find by feel). The nice thing about the point is that if you are using the flashlight to find your way, your natural grip (like a normal flashlight) means it is ready to use in self defense, if needed. Hopefully, it will not come to that, and you can use the cleverly stored bottle opener to enjoy a cold one! This is a great gift for both women and men, and comes in a nice box with two pen refills and a spare battery.

What a great tactical pen/tool. I’m not going to knock the product based on features it should have like I see with other reviews. My rating is based on the features I was well aware it had when I bought it. With that said, this feels well made. The flashlight is shockingly bright for it being so small. It comes with batteries inside and extra batteries. The pen ink writes well and it comes with two extra ink inserts as well. I used the bottle opener and it works, so that’s good. :-) haven’t used the glass breaker yet, but it feels and looks strong enough to use tactically such as self defense.

Really cool pen/tool for a gift. I checked out a couple other tactical pens, but this one looked like it was the best quality. I was really surprised how bright the flashlight is and the built-in bottle opener is pretty clever. It came in a nice gift box with extra batteries and ink. I’m keeping this one on my wish list for a father’s day gift later this year!

after my girlfriend, who is a nurse ,told me about a fellow nurse was attacked and hurt badly by an alcoholic patient recovering from surgery i bought her this tactical pen. The patient didn't get in any trouble because he claims he is an alcoholic and had no booze, so he grabbed the nurse by the crotch and when she didn't receive his romantic jester warmly, be beat her and damaged her shoulder needing surgery. If that nurse had this tactical pen she could of punched thru his skull and gave him a much needed lobotomy. The used the pen to add that procedure to the losers chart. and to all you drunks going in for surgery,,,Beware
